The meeting held in the state chaired by Amit Shah has resulted in putting a full stop to the historic alliance of BJP and PDP in Jammu& Kashmir. According to the ruling party, the coalition has become “untenable” so is the decision on Tuesday by the saffron party. The Governor of the state, NN Vohra has then expressed the decision, because the implementation of the Governor’s rule in the state is the possibility after the breakup. Following this pullout, the Chief Minister of the state, Mehbooba Mufti tendered her resign.
What CM (PDP) has to say on this?
The CM of the valley has to say that the alliance was supposed to bring peace in the place. She has also added that she is not sad after submitting her resign as there was no concern of power in the alliance.
Reasons for the breakup of the three-year-old alliance
The steep hike in violence in the city, terrorism, killing of the Editor of the newspaper, Shujaat Bukhari and the radicalization are some of the triggering reasons for the breakup, as stated by the saffron party. The party wants some big decisions to be taken for the better future of Jammu and Kashmir. Preparations for more prominent actions against terrorists and stone pelters must be done with speed, say experts. “Operation Kill Top Commander”, “Operation All Out” is to be conducted by the army personnel on killing their members. It has also been proposed that Para Special Forces may support the operations to be executed in the coming days. In this course, a meeting was held at the residence of Home Minister, Rajnath Singh. The primary motives of the meeting were to determine the blueprint of all these decisions and the politics in the state in the coming days. A large number of additions have also been made in the state politics.
No political intervention on stone-pelting cases
In case the state goes through governance conditions made by its Governor, then there will not be any political interference on the matters of terrorists, and stone pelters.
