Health and Fitness! These are the two most talked words in the world. But what do they mean? Health is complete state of Physical, Mental and Social well-being while Fitness, in a layman language means the quality of being suitable to fulfil a particular role or task. Fitness is a general state of health. Fitness is achieved through correct nutrition, moderate-vigorous Physical exercise, physical activity, and sufficient rest. One needs to follow a healthy lifestyle to be physically fit.
Indicators of Good Health:

- Fresh Breathe and body odour.
- Meals are digested easily.
- Feeling energized throughout the day.
- Clear Urination.
- Clear and focused thinking.
- Efficient circulation

Your Life, Your Health, Your way!
Health can, generally, be measured on major three parameters: Physical, Psychological and Nutritional. Physical health means the physical appearance of a person; Nutritional health means the presence of essential nutrients in the body to fight diseases with immunity. Psychological health means the ability in a person to maintain patience, calm and composure in all circumstances of life.
According to the Surgeon General, Physical activity is one of the most important controllable lifestyle changes to help prevent a number of chronic diseases. Exercise helps to control appetite, boost mood, and improve sleep. It also reduces the risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, dementia, depression, and many cancers. Walking, running, cycling, playing, swimming, gardening, skipping, weight-lifting and Yoga are some of the important activities which help us maintain fit and healthy lifestyle.
Proper diet pulls double duty. Eating well means listening to that little voice inside that knows what healthy foods generally look like – fresh and recognizable in nature and what they don’t – prepackaged and processed. Diet is not only responsible for weight loss; there are various diets available that help in increasing stamina, gaining weight, gaining muscles. Any diet should provide sufficient calories and not fall seriously short on important nutrients or entire food groups. There are many diets and platforms present online that can help one to be healthy and fit.
Protecting your body from the intake of harmful substances, doing regular exercises, having proper food and sleep are some of the important instances that define a healthy lifestyle. Being fit allows us to perform our activities without being lethargic, restless or tired.
Your body is the only place where your soul lives, take care of it. Respect, love, care, challenge and fuel your body. It always comes down to one thing, how bad do you want it!
