What a match it was!
Congrats to the winning team!
CSK made this year and created history. The entire team came together, played really well and won the match. It was the team’s seventh IPL finale, and it clinched the tag for the third time. Wankhade Stadium has been into so many controversies. But today, it has been a part of a historic match. Yes, you too enjoyed it, right? It has become another platform for Shane Watson to showcase his splendidness and talent to the world and gave the best worth to the fans’ tickets.
On 27-May-2018, SRH managed to reach the milestone of 178/6. And the shoulders to such a huge number on the scoreboard were Kane Williamson who made 47 runs, and Yusuf Pathan, who was able to collect 45*. No doubt the openers of SRH, Shikhar Dhawan and Shreevats Goswami had a cautious start, but the team managed to take the level of the scoreboard to 178/6. But lets’ talk about the winning team or I would say the man behind CSK’s win, yes you are right. It’s Shane Watson. He scored his second IPL ton today. Surprisingly, he took 10 balls to score his first run, but the next 41 balls changed the game for everyone. In those number of deliveries to score 100 runs. In the next six balls, he scored 17 runs. The first ten years of the domestic Indian T20 league has made it the most tempting and reputation premier leagues out of the world. We are just over with the finale of the most engaging sports branch of the universe, not only for the participants and for the fans and the team owners as well.

The winners will get $4 million. The total prize money for Indian Premier League 2018 is $8 million. So, the runner-ups will be awarded $2 million. What was different in today’s match?
Seven out of the total eleven players of the team were aged more than 30. Yes, but still the team clinched the title. The captain has said that it was a major team of concern. In the middle of the series, the players have also gone through several injuries. But all is well that ends well. We enjoyed the match and yes, eagerly waiting for the next IPL season to strike on our TV screens.
