Munmum Dutta was born on 28th Sep 1987. Her hometown is Durgapur, West Bengal. When she was in school, her dream was to become a doctor but she ended up becoming an actress and model.
Munmum has done schooling from Oxford Model Senior Secondary School, Uttar Pradesh. For pursuing higher education, she moved to Pune and has done Master’s Degree in English(Arts).
In her college days, she participated in many fashion shows. After showing her talent to the directors, she got a chance to act in a serial Hum Sab Baraati and her first film was Mumbai Express(2004) and the second film was Holiday(2006).
In 2008, She got a chance to act in Taarak Mehta ka ooltah Chashma as Babita Iyer and that moment was the most valuable moment in her life because the show Taarak Mehta ka ooltah Chashma has made her so popular that she can’t imagine.

Munmun is from Bengali Family. Her parents are having an interest in singing and she is also having some of the interest in singing. Her father died after a chronic illness on 11th June 2018.
